Music, Family & Community
The Music Matters Festival will be a celebration of music, family, and community. It will be the coming together of the two schools for a family picnic and a joint concert fundraiser.
Objectives:
-
All profits from food sales will help pay for this concert and musical supplies
-
Inspire the 700 children of our schools to excel in the arts, not just to be good, but to be excellent!
During this festival students of both Phelps & Robinson will sing and dance in choruses to energetic songs. This year’s theme is the Patriotism and the Joy of Life. Original songs for this concert have been composed by our very own music teacher Mr. Sawyer.

After students perform, they are encouraged to enjoy the many free activities and to stay around for the end of the concert when we will sing as a community the song “America The Beautiful as a grand finale with all students and audience members signing together. Everyone is encouraged to wear red white and blue or anything patriotic.
Make sure you follow us on facebook and post all your pictures from the event!
